Ivy is experiencing the life of 2 year old.....

please dont let the pic fool you.. the last few days Ivy is really showing me the meaning of the terrible two.. she hasnt been super naughty but just stubborn as all @%##.... really frustrating me... oh but i scrapped today so am feeling abit better and we didnt have a small arguement over bed she just went... {only went to sleep after 2 books from me 2 from dad and a heap of patts on the back from dad} but there were no tears or screaming or that horrible calll..... I want mum.. mum...mummy...{picture it going over and over and over and over and over} you get the drift..anyho.. enough whingeing we've all been there {well tarj was never there at 2 he waited till 3}LOL>.. oh did i mention that i scrapped today..just have to journal and will put up a sneak coz it for the Journal it group.. be posted there on the 1st..wow May already.. my sister is movin away soon... i'm sad about that but she has to follow her family i suppose.. but anyway..i'll get to visit a nice part of the world.. she going down near Byron Bay..{never been down there but guess i will be soon...}.. oh enough already...

PS..yeah Ivy does have a black swollen eye.. she got bitten by something during the night and woke up like that..but never complained...

i have been busy but no layouts..

hey everyone, i have been doing stuff but havent done a layout for days.. scary.. i've been making some stuff to send to some very special people.. {hope they like}.. i've tried dyeing doileys..{fun}.. and today was a nice day... started out with some awesome clouds and ended by taking the kids to the park to feed the ducks.. {not something we do alot of, we probably should..}

posers.. Ivy being Ivy.. and Tarj well what can i say.. he so cute... and tough..LOL

I tried at least to get a decent pic of the 3 together..but Tarj and Ivy insisted on eating the last of the moldy bread that the ducks were supposed to have and wouldnt stop for a photo.. but still i suppose reflects us... a bunch of daggs....LOL...


oh and the mist coming off of the fountains was so nice that i just couldnt walk past without taking a photo...
well that was my day.. {oh but have had a crappy weekend..you know kids being crabby and the rest of the family as well {extented as well}.. YAY for me.. but hopefully this new week will be all good.. fingers crossed anyho..
a layout is in my head {sort of} for doing tomorrow so that'll make me feel aheap better.. thanks for visiting and please feel free to leave a comment...

You Inspire Me..
I've had this pic of Ivy for a while but was unsure what to do.. then this challenge came along.
this is what i had to be inspired by..LSS challenge.. the result.

i made the ribbon into some yummy flowers.

this is my second for today.. Inspired by the COLOR ROOM... used the Her palette for a him page.. fun...

okay so this is the last page i'm doing about myself for a while.. and the last with that door...LOL...{cept maybe a special one that you'll all see later}.. but yay..

just incase you were wondering the journalling reads....when you ask people why they scrap you'll get the most common answer for my kids, so they'll have heaps of memories of what we did and who they were growing up... and i say pigs arse to that.. sure thats a by product but for me its about the quiet time, the ME time, when i get to be creative, arty, even my true self. so take it or leave it. scrappin is fun, addictive, mental and even alittle random, but most importantly its all about ME... and a way to preserve our family history and remember the fun times..LOL... oh and i nearly forgot about ME making new friends...

so there you have it.. alittle random.. but its me.

on a brighter note

okey dokey.. so i did a layout over the weekend..not sure if i like it but its abit of fun.. started okay then tried something with the paper and it didnt work so i just kept goin..
totally addicted to dyno tape at the moment..the journalling on a paper doiley.. interesting... might try it again
this definately wont fit into an album..so much height..hard to tell by pic but the highest part is about and Inch to Inch and half high.. just went with the flow.

layout was done for a local challenge group and it was to scrap something you did etc for the first time....

what a morning.. couple days..

okay so this is what has happened... yesterday i played soccer and got kicked in the knee... so i have an awesome bruise... cool hey...
then Tarj in his words "was just making Ivy Beautful..".. yep you guessed it cut her hair..
this is the front view.. little missing from fringe.. not too bad
and the back..little chunks taken out..

the infamous scissors... so quick run to Belindas for her to fix.. she did great job, she didnt end up having to cut Ivys hair up to the chunks but was able to add some layers.. feeeew.... oh and between the chop and lunch, i've had Ivy forget to go to the toilet a few times, including at Belindas in Jetts room.. and then Tarj be sick everywhere... YAY for me....LOL.
